Dawn was a very good friend of mine. She was married to Ron Philips, from Fairfax. She had two boys. She passed away back in 1992 or three. I believe she had uterine cancer.She had graduated from Bridgewater College in 1975 with a Degree in Physical Education. She continued to play softball after college. Dawn was very good at all sports!

I liked Dawn in high school, but we knew each other mostly superficially. It was when I was working as a float nurse on a surgical floor that I saw her again. We got a chance to catch up, and had a couple of great conversations. I found out that her mother Bess Larson had actually been my boss when I worked in the operating room. Sadly, I never saw her after that.
