Cameron Cookmeyer

Well, this is embarrassing! Our classmate has passed away and we don’t have any information about the death.  If you have any information, please contact Paul Peters so he can update the records.

Thanks, we appreciate your help!

Cameron was killed in an automobile accident on May 23, 1995.

Wow, fate/ life... call it what ever you like, is so unpredictable. Who dies early and who lives to age 90 is so much out of anyones control. Take Cameron, here is a guy that I would have predicted would be President of the United States (God knows he would be much better than what we have ended up with). He voted our class "Cutest Couple" with Nancy Smith. And life never seems to be fair about who gets to live and who has to die (early).  You can live a honest, good hard working life and maintain your health, and bingo die the nexte day, while the guy next door maybe a criminal and has abused his body lives a ripe old age.  I will miss his sprit and ambition.  Cameron and his family were dear friends of mine, and Jimmy's.  We are still in touch with his brother, Kevin. Cameron was very fun loving and I enjoyed hanging out with him, John Richardson and Bob Owens. His sudden loss was very traumatic and he is sorely missed.
