This photo was taken at a plantation near Georgetown SC where we were celebrating Monica's birthday. Brenda was the keeper of Terry Kleinschmidt's ashes and she felt it appropriate to include Terry at the celebration. So Terry's urn was prominently front and center on the table. We toasted to Monica and after that, we toasted to Terry, too. So please, if you read this post, raise your glass and toast to Brenda. She was full of life, shenanigans and lots of love. I will miss you, my dear friend! ♥️

Gosh she was sweet and pretty!  Our junior year, I pulled off a nervous and out-of-character theft of a "Brenda La" street sign from a subdivision off Columbia Pike.  I took it to Brenda's house, and she took me to her bedroom where there were four other copies of that sign, including one that consisted of the whole top of the pole and even the cross-street sign! She thanked me as she added my offering to her collection. I deduced that there were at least 3 other people that were as crazy about her as I was, and one even crazier still. Rest in peace, sweet Brenda.
