Bill was my dear cousin, and we got to go to AHS together for a short time when he moved from California. He was like my personal bodyguard, standing 6'5". He practiced his Russian as we walked home from school, I practiced my faltering French on him. After graduation, he joined the Air Force, and loved his job. Our entire family misses him and his silly sense of humor. He will always be remembered as "the Gentle Giant". He is interred at Point Loma Veterans Cemetery.
