"Victoria Jeanne "Vickie" Lee passed away unexpectedly at her daughter's home on Friday, March 11, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Vickie was born on June 19, 1953 in Arlington, Virginia. She was the first of three children of Jeanne Ryll Hudkins and Glenn Edward Lee. Survivors include her two children, Dawn Ward, Allison Ellmore; and four grandchildren Dylan Ward, Tyler Fries, Skyler Ward and Camryn Fries.
Vickie loved her family and had such a soft spot for her grandchildren especially. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved by so many."
It was very sad to learn today of Vickie's passing. Although we were not particulary close (last time I saw her was in the 80's when we had lunch at Fritzbees (?) in Annandale), I always considered her a good friend, going back to when we were 11-12 (?). Sometimes, after dinner, we would all meet down by the storm drain on Elgar by Ravensworth and just hang out. She would always be with her good friend, Margie Panchelle (SP?). Those were innocent days and left many good memories. I regret I won't be able to attend the upcoming Life Celebration for her but I will be there in spirit. Godspeed, Vickie, we will miss you.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her daughter’s residence, 28 Hamstead Rd. Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
