KATHERINE JANE ELIZABETH BUCK  
Passed Away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in her home in Springfield, VA. Katherine Jane was a devoted Coach and Teacher at Annandale High School for over 40 years touching the hearts and shaping the lives of her students and players. Over her life she loved the water, sailing, traveling abroad, her cats and spending time with family and friends. Katherine Jane requested to be cremated and ashes returned to her hometown in Gloucester VA. At a later date there will be a memorial service at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Hayes, VA, where she will be buried next to her beloved parents, Walter R. Buck, Jr. and Sarah Mabel Willett Buck. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to "CATS ARE TOPS'- PO Box 771 Annandale, VA 22003 or a favorite charity.Katherine Buck, a basketball and softball coach and teacher, was at Annandale High School for more than 40 years, beginning when the school opened in 1954.
